About Christy Jemail and Equinimity

"For many years I have been fascinated by, and studied the teachings of, such gifted horsemanship teachers as Buck Brannaman, Bryan Neubert and Judy Cross-Strehlke. It is clear to me that this way of thinking and working with our horses has rich rewards. I am truly grateful for all that I have learned from my mentors, and I am inspired by the opportunity to help people grow toward achieving equanimity with their horses as well."

Christy is originally from Cincinnati, where she began riding at the age of seven. In 1989, after graduating from Pepperdine University, her lifelong dream of owning a horse came true. Desiree was a frantic, nine year old Arabian mare who had been thru seven owners. Everyone had given up on her. Through an ongoing study of kind and consistent training techniques, Christy and Desiree have enjoyed multiple disciplines together including trail riding, cart driving, dressage, jumping and cow working together.
